Through this website, I hope to share insights for people coming from different backgrounds and careers.
I grew up in the Philippines, where I earned a degree in Computer Engineering and practiced my skills by creating systems and applications for enterprise clients. Fast forward to 2018, I traveled to New Zealand on a Working Holiday and continued my work as a freelance software developer. Then the pandemic came, and like many, my life came to a halt. With time to reflect, I discovered the countryside of New Zealand and began working as a dairy farmer — and I loved it! I turned it into a career and never looked back. Today, I work as an Assistant Farm Manager at a dairy farm in Southland NZ.
